Acceptable Use Policy

Introduction

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") describes the acceptable and prohibited uses of HelloVideo (accessible at https://hellovideo.com), operated by LIU SONGSONG ("we", "us", or "our"). This AUP is incorporated into and forms part of our Terms of Service.

By using HelloVideo, you agree to comply with this Acceptable Use Policy. We reserve the right to update this AUP at any time, and your continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of any changes.

Purpose

HelloVideo provides a user-friendly interface for AI image and video generation using the Nano Banana series of models (Nano Banana, Nano Banana 2, and Nano Banana Pro), provided by third-party AI model providers. HelloVideo is an independent service and does not own or develop the underlying AI models.

This AUP exists to ensure that HelloVideo is used responsibly, ethically, and in compliance with applicable laws. We are committed to preventing misuse of our platform and protecting the rights and safety of all individuals.

AI Model Content Safety

The Nano Banana series of AI models used by HelloVideo include built-in content safety filters powered by Google Gemini. These models employ a multi-layer safety protection system that automatically refuses to generate content that violates this AUP, including but not limited to:

• Sexually explicit or NSFW (Not Safe For Work) content
• Nudity or semi-nudity
• Sexually suggestive imagery
• Content depicting sexual exploitation
• Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM)
• Deepfakes or non-consensual intimate imagery

The safety system operates at both the input (prompt) and output (generated image) stages: the underlying Gemini model automatically refuses to process unsafe prompts, while Google's safety filters analyze both prompts and generated images to block prohibited content. Child safety protections are always enabled and cannot be disabled.

In addition to model-level safety filters, HelloVideo employs a secondary content screening layer using the Creem Moderation API. Every user prompt is evaluated against content policies before being forwarded to any AI model. Prompts that receive a "deny" or "flag" decision are blocked and not processed, providing a dual-layer protection system against prohibited content generation.

When a user submits a prompt that requests or would result in prohibited content, the AI model will refuse to process the request and the user will be notified.

Prohibited Uses

You must not use HelloVideo to generate, attempt to generate, or facilitate the generation of any of the following types of content:

1. Illegal Content

Any content that violates applicable local, national, or international laws or regulations.

2. Copyrighted Characters and Trademarks

Images of copyrighted characters, trademarks, or protected intellectual property without explicit authorization from the rights holder. This includes but is not limited to characters from movies, TV shows, video games, comic books, and other media properties.

3. Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM)

Any content depicting or related to the sexual exploitation of minors, including but not limited to AI-generated depictions. We have zero tolerance for CSAM and will report any such attempts to relevant law enforcement authorities.

4. Non-Consensual Intimate Depictions

Any intimate or sexual content depicting real individuals without their explicit consent, including AI-generated "deepfakes" or manipulated imagery.

5. Extreme Violence and Gore

Gratuitously violent, gory, or disturbing content that serves no legitimate artistic, educational, or journalistic purpose.

6. Hate Speech

Content that promotes hatred, discrimination, or violence against individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, age, nationality, or other protected characteristics.

7. Misinformation and Deception

Content designed to spread false information, create misleading deepfakes, or deceive others in harmful ways. This includes fake news, fraudulent documents, and misleading imagery intended to cause harm.

8. Terrorism and Extremist Content

Content that promotes, supports, or glorifies terrorist organizations, extremist ideologies, or acts of terrorism.

9. Harassment and Bullying

Content intended to harass, intimidate, bully, stalk, or threaten specific individuals or groups.

10. NSFW and Sexually Explicit Content

Any nudity, sexually explicit, or sexually suggestive content, including but not limited to:

• AI-generated NSFW imagery
• Undressing simulations or manipulations
• Provocative poses with sexual intent
• Fetish or adult-oriented content

Our AI models are configured to automatically refuse such requests.

Prohibited Activities

In addition to the prohibited content types listed above, you must not engage in the following activities while using HelloVideo:

Account and Access

• Creating multiple accounts to abuse free Credits or promotional offers
• Sharing your account credentials with third parties
• Attempting to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts
• Using automated tools, bots, or scripts to access the Service without authorization

Service Integrity

• Attempting to reverse engineer, decompile, or analyze the AI models or any component of the Service
• Circumventing, disabling, or interfering with security features, content filters, or usage restrictions
• Exploiting bugs, glitches, or vulnerabilities for personal gain
• Interfering with or disrupting the Service or its infrastructure

Financial and Credit Abuse

• Using Credits obtained through fraudulent means
• Attempting to manipulate the credit system or subscription billing
• Reselling or redistributing Credits or account access
• Initiating chargebacks without first contacting us to resolve the issue

Use of AI-Generated Content

When using images generated by HelloVideo, you agree to:

1. Verify rights clearance: AI-generated images may have limited copyright protection in certain jurisdictions. You are responsible for verifying that your use of generated images does not infringe on any third-party rights
2. Comply with laws: Ensure your use of generated images complies with all applicable laws and regulations
3. Avoid misrepresentation: Do not use AI-generated images to impersonate real individuals, create misleading content, or commit fraud
4. Respect others' rights: Do not use generated images in ways that harm, defame, or violate the rights of others
5. Acknowledge AI generation: When required by applicable law or platform policies, disclose that images were AI-generated

Enforcement

Monitoring and Detection

We employ a combination of automated systems and human review to detect and prevent violations of this AUP:

• AI model filters: The Nano Banana series models have built-in content safety filters that automatically reject prohibited prompts
• Usage monitoring: We monitor usage patterns for signs of abuse, fraud, or policy violations
• User reports: We investigate reports of potential violations submitted by users or third parties

Consequences of Violations

Violations of this AUP may result in one or more of the following actions, at our sole discretion:

1. Warning: A formal warning may be issued for first-time or minor violations
2. Content removal: Prohibited content may be removed from your account
3. Account suspension: Your account may be temporarily suspended pending investigation
4. Account termination: Your account may be permanently terminated for serious or repeated violations
5. Credit forfeiture: Credits associated with policy violations may be forfeited without compensation
6. Legal reporting: Illegal activity, particularly CSAM or terrorism-related content, will be reported to relevant law enforcement authorities

Appeal Process

If you believe your account was suspended or terminated in error, you may appeal the decision by contacting us at support@hellovideo.com with:

• Your registered email address
• A description of the action taken against your account
• The reason you believe the action was incorrect

We will review your appeal and respond within 5 business days.

Reporting Violations

If you encounter content on HelloVideo that you believe violates this AUP, please report it to us at support@hellovideo.com with:

• A description of the violating content
• The relevant account or image identifier (if available)
• The reason you believe the content violates this AUP

We take all reports seriously and will investigate promptly.

Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Acceptable Use Policy at any time. When we make changes:

1. We will update the "date" field at the top of this AUP
2. For material changes, we will provide at least 30 days' advance notice via email
3. Your continued use of HelloVideo after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised AUP
